What type of loft conversion do you need?
What type of extension do you need?

Timeline
One to two days before the commencement of your loft conversion, your scaffold will be errected and all materials will be delivered to site.

Week 1.
The RSJ's will be installed and the construction of any dormers, gables or roofing will be done. The conversion will be weathered to prevent any leaks and the independent floor will be constructed.

Week 2.
All structual walls and floors are formed ready for inspection from the building inspector. Existing water tanks would be relocated to the void area if required.

Week 3.
Our electrical foreman will discuss the positioning of your allocated points and if required the plumber will position any proposed suites and radiators. Your joiner will insulate and plasterboard the loft area and your new staircase will be installed.

Week 4.
The site is cleared of any excess materials ready for the plasterer to work on the site.

Week 5.
There may be a 1 to 5 day delay while the plaster drys and then the finishing touches will be applied to the walls and ceilings.

Week 6.
Your plumber will now be back to install your new suite and any ceramic tiling will be finished. A final checklist is then prepared with you to ensure your complete satisfaction.

Week 7.
Any excess materials will be cleared from the site and scaffolding will be removed. Your property will be back to normal, ready for you to enjoy your new loft conversion.

The above timescales are a guide only and will depend on the size of your conversion. Premier Self Build
